Looking for design, illustration, or interactive design education in Vancouver?

Our Late Application period closes on April 15, 2020 (no portfolio submissions will be accepted after this date). Please note that all application interviews will be done remotely in May. If we have to make any changes to Fall term course delivery we will be giving plenty of notice.

Janice Callangan was offered a full time design position from her 3rd year summer internship at Cossette and graduated with an Advanced Diploma

Janice’s summer internship during third-year turned into a full-time job. She never planned to leave IDEA School of Design after 3 years but her creative directors assured her that she could build her portfolio at Cossette with real projects, clients and budgets and gain the experience of working one full year prior to her own classmates.

Students looking for a more direct pathway to industry may graduate after third year with an Advanced Diploma. Check out Janice’s story!

The focus of the Bachelor of Design at Capilano University is career preparation.

This year’s grad show theme is Every Type of Talent, which reflects the range of capabilities, personalities and interests of our 2019 graduates. We’re proud of their achievements and their growth since they arrived on campus four years ago.
