Here's a little wintery-themed frame-by-frame animation done in Photoshop by first-year student Tiffany Zhong (IDEA Grad 2024).
“I love putting the extra effort into ‘traditionally’ animating digital pieces that end up looking deceptively simple! I did 12 frames with two or three additional in-betweens, it took me 1.5-2 hours I think? I always lose track of time working on these.”
Entry to the Bachelor of Design program at Capilano University is competitive, and applicants must submit a portfolio and other documents through the online portal SlideRoom.
