The focus of the Bachelor of Design at Capilano University is career preparation.

This year’s grad show theme is Every Type of Talent, which reflects the range of capabilities, personalities and interests of our 2019 graduates. We’re proud of their achievements and their growth since they arrived on campus four years ago.

Our program’s reputation within the graphic arts industry has been built over many years, and provides our graduates a vital link to rewarding careers. Our curriculum is continually evolving to reflect current professional standards and practice, and to anticipate new trends and opportunities. The Bachelor of Design allows students to specialize in branding, illustration or interactive design, and offers a flexible curriculum to meet individual student goals.

Ultimately, our program objectives are embodied by our graduates. Their curiosity, passion and dedication have led them to this milestone, where every type of talent can continue to flourish.
