Joyce Chan (IDEA22) gains RGD Honourable Mention for Print Design with “The Great Gatsby” book cover design
Congratulations to Joyce Chan (IDEA Grad 2022) for gaining the RGD Honourable Mention for Print Design for her “The Great Gatsby” Book Cover Design.
The book cover was designed to highlight the disparity between different social classes and the cost of pursuing American dreams in the roaring 20s. With the initial idea, I designed a conceptual illustration that depicts a couple dancing and the rest drowning in a champagne glass.
