First Year IDEA Students Explore the 1960s

Last year our first year students had the assignment of creating a mood board or album cover to capture the spirit of the 1960s psychedelic art movement or the beatnik feel. They could either do a general 60s board or choose any musical artist, period or modern, and create a 60s inspired album cover for them. They’re back now in their second year and we look forward to showcasing their upcoming work.

Taking Wes Wilson as her inspiration, Anna created an album cover for Lady Gaga using contrasting, vibrant and fun colours to describe the artist's personality and style.
