A mushroom pun for a mushy day. I've always been super into mushrooms, and knowing that Valentine's Day was coming up, I thought I would draw a cute little illustration with one of my favourite puns, "Let's be mushy". I decided to draw this illustration using my Wacom tablet with Photoshop as digital art is a medium I'm very comfortable and familiar with. I thought I would spice it up a bit this time and download some new brushes from Adobe's brush library for this project. I'm proud of how it turned out and am excited to create more digital art pieces for class assignments.

Knowing it was Valentine’s Day I just doodled the first thing that came to mind — I love using procreate on my iPad. I don’t know if it’s just me but I’d love to see this design on some retro workout gear one day 🤞🏻
“All About My Feelings Valentine’s Earrings” by Sarah Harley (IDEA Grad 2024)
I make these earrings out of polymer clay and have been wanting to incorporate more of my drawing style with the clay - so these expressive faces came to be just in time for Valentine’s Day. Sometimes you just gotta wear your feelings on your earrings... or however the saying goes??
